This short video of the property was taken during the initial flight of the new DJI Avata 2 drone I purchased. I launched from the tobacco barn and cruised out over the South Fork River and the upper field, which shows the brown switchgrass that has held over from 2023. The new shoots will replace the old grasses in a few weeks, providing privacy and shelter for whitetail deer and wildlife.

I also tested the drone’s accuracy by flying through the woods over our hiking trails and between the trees while holding tight to the limestone cliff line. 

This was a quick test flight and edit. I plan to reshoot more of the property shortly and edit a longer and more comprehensive video of South Fork Farm.
