You are guaranteed to get your feet wet on this hike, but it is worth it. 

A good friend describes this as one of his favorite hikes, both in and outside of the Red River Gorge. I’m not sure it’s all that, but it is a fantastic waterfall. 

You will want to visit Copperas Creek during the wetter months of the year or after decent rain, so you can enjoy the splendor of the waterfall. This is an unofficial trail, so PLEASE stay as close as possible to the most apparent trail to void getting lost or unnecessary wearing and eroding paths that lead aimlessly through the wood.
